Brighton beach has many coffee shops and pubs that one can visit. Amongst them stands the Buccaneer, which is often mentioned as a great place to enjoy breakfast or lunch right on the Brighton coastline.

The Buccaneer is a small, independently owned bar, coffee shop, and restaurant of good honest British cuisine. So you find an extensive selection, from drinks to breakfast foods, to seafood and even ice creams that will satisfy any palate.

KNOW IT ALL – Brighton Beach Map

I have created a super helpful bespoke Google map for all the essentials you need, not only when on Brighton beach, but when organising a great day trip to Brighton beach as well. Set yourself up for a stress-free day trip and save some pennies in the process.

The Buccaneer Cafe on Brighton Beach, UK

Located right on the coast of Brighton Beach within the Kings Road Arches, the Buccaneer, for those seeking more history than the sun, is also just 0.3 miles from the bonkers beautiful Royal Pavilion Palace.

Making the Buccaneer an ideal place for anyone seeking a breakfast with a sea view before heading a little inland to see the Pavilion.

The Buccaneer also has an outside sitting area right on a patio that can be (weather permitting) a great setting to sit and enjoy the view of the sea. It is also great to visit with family, as your children will be able to be on the beach and play, close to where you are enjoying a drink or food and sitting on the patio.

Food

The Buccaneer is also known for being an excellent place for a spot of brunch. Brunch being that fabulous meal you have when you combine Breakfast and Lunch.

His brunch could be American Pancakes with syrup or the more British traditional foods such as cheesy chips, fish and chips, calamari, and other seafood dishes. These delicious dishes, smells and views and seaside sounds all add to a memorable Brighton beach experience.

PLEASE BE WARNED:

I should take this chance to mention the seagulls in Brighton If you haven’t noticed already.

These seagulls are not flying over ahead trying to look pretty. They are Petaling the seafront for food. A seagull loves nothing more than fish and carbs.

So, enjoy your food, but protect your fish and chips, and know you are being watched.

Drinks

They also have a large selection of drinks from Wow! strong coffee to cocktails and a selection of beers, so depending on the hour of the day and your mood, you should be able to find whatever you want at the Buccaneer

Reservations

Unlike many other bars in Brighton Beach, the Buccaneer does not appear to offer reservations. However, you can usually find a spot fairly quickly as they have a large and different array of seating options.

They are also open from 9 am to 9 pm every day. So, depending on the hour of the day, it might be easier or harder to find somewhere to sit.

It is more often harder to get seating in the late afternoons and early evenings. As in the summer months, the whole of Brighton beachfront is buzzing with daytime drinkers and the eager early birds warming up with a drink or two for their night of clubbing later.

So whether you fancy a quick sit down and refreshing drink, a coffee and a people-watching session, or a meal and a beer in the sun, The Buccaneer is an excellent option.
